I appreciated the no pressure estimate. They came out, without needing me to be present for a meeting, and then emailed me an estimate. I had a few questions which they answered promptly by email. The estimate included replacing all the plywood sheets since they felt the roof deck was very soft during their inspection and a discount if I committed to have the work done before the end of September. I did have another estimate that came in lower, but with a potential for being higher in the end due to the unknown variable cost of how many sheets could need to be replaced. I chose this estimate since it was good to know all the sheets would be replaced with a reasonable known fixed cost. They want half of the cost paid by cashier check when they show up to begin work and the other half paid upon completion. They did stress they preferred a check over cash.During the installation, they provided me guidance on whether I should replace my broken attic fan or just remove it and cover it with plywood. They suggested to keep a fan and quoted me a price on the fan they had available in the truck. I was able to find a comparable fan that was less expensive at Lowe's and they had no problem installing the one I bought (note, if you need a fan installed, they are not electricians and will not do electrical hookups. I connected the wiring for the new fan myself).In the end, I'll was offered a reasonable price and the work was performed well. Most likely I will be in the ground by the time this roof needs replaced so hopefully I do not see these guys again, though they do stand by their work and will come back if something negative develops with the install. We have had a few good rain events since the install and everything has been fine.If I move and need a new roof somewhere else, I'd be happy to hire these guys again.L H ★★★★★ We are highly impressed with Triple Pine Roofing! Everybody was extremely polite, respectful and punctual. Everything was done in two days just like Michael said it would be.They do not run a massive crew like other companies. I knew this and preferred the quality work from their smaller crew. The first day was just two people, but they finished three quarters of the front half of our rancher.They honored the exact quote and didn’t try and change anything in the price. The workers were so neat and tidy you would never know they were there besides having a beautiful, new roof.
